sds_Talkr version 2.0 released

with 9 comments

It’s now in the codex. Version 2 adds an option to disable the Talkr link in a feed. I’m working on 2.1, that will allow the link to be turned on or off on a post/page by post/page basis, with a choosable default.

  1. Steve – I use your original plugin and will look at this upgrade. What I really want to figure out is why the talkr.com site does not let me configure the iTunes Optimization. Have you had any luck with this? There are plenty of WP plug ins that do this, and I was thinking maybe a mashup or just installing both yours and that one would work to submit it. Thoughts?

  2. This is an issue on the talkr site. My plugin just creates a link to the MP3 that talkr creates for you.
I no longer have iTunes installed to see if it’s really created a feed for me based on the stuff I entered on the Talkr site.

  3. Can you tell me how I manually disable the Listen to this Post feature for pages?

  4. It’s on my todo list. I’ve been swamped. Would you like to see an option that disables the plugin for pages, comments, or posts?

  7. Hi, Steve, any word on whether your plugin is 2.3 compatible? It’s not on the yes, no or maybe compatible lists in the Codex.

  8. I’m using it with 2.3. I’ve been lazy and haven’t updated the notes in the Codex.
